Inventory (Resource Manager)

Inventorying your resources lets you know exactly what you have and where it is, as well as what is missing. If you limit an inventory to only textbooks, then you can also limit it by the year adoption ends.

Each site can conduct an inventory of its resources, and generate inventory reports. In addition, the district resources manager can initiate a district-wide inventory, monitor its progress, and generate district-wide inventory reports.

note Inventorying changes an item’s inventory status (Accounted for/Unaccounted for); it could also affect an item’s copy status.

With either type of inventory, the goal is to enter the barcode number of each unaccounted-for item.

In-hand transfers

When you check out, check in, or inventory a kit, a pop-up appears that lets you adjust the component quantities.

To start an inventory with barcoded and unbarcoded items

You can confirm the status and location of all unbarcoded and consumable resources by conducting an inventory. When inventorying unbarcoded and consumable items, you enter a count instead of scanning barcodes.
