important Running the inventory changes the item inventory status; it could also change the item status.

1. If you are not on the Start Inventory page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
2. In the Inventory Name field, type a unique name for your inventory.

note If you are logged in to the district, use the For drop-down to select which schools in your district will conduct the inventory.

3. To limit your inventory to specific types of resources, such as textbooks, click +Update. The Select Resource Types page appears. See Select Resource Types.

4. Optional The Additional Options Adoption End from selection is only available for textbook inventories. To select this, enter the applicable four-digit years in the fields.

5. Click OK. You return to the Start Inventory page.
6. Make other changes as needed, and then click OK.
