To sort the list on either tab, click any column heading to sort by that column in descending order. Click again to sort the information in ascending order.

To generate a report for an inventory, click View.

To delete a completed inventory, click Remove. Please note that, once you delete an inventory, you can no longer generate its reports.

Once you delete its Completed Inventory Report, you can no longer view the completed inventory.

To generate a report, click View next to the inventory.

A Completed Inventory Report includes all items in the inventory—both Accounted For and Unaccounted For.
For an in-progress inventory report, you need to specify the contents:

1. If you are not on the Resource Reports page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
2. Select the report you want.
3. On the Progress Details page that opens, Destiny® displays the count of items in this inventory, items Accounted for, items Unaccounted for, and total items in your collection.
4. Select the items you want to include on the report.
5. If you would like to include the images for any unaccounted-for items, select the check box.
6. Click Run Report.
7. Click View when the Report Manager appears.

Destiny generates the report in both XML and PDF formats. For a district-wide inventory, Destiny generates a Summary report and a Detail report in both formats.

These reports:

• In-Progress Inventory Report generated at a site
• Completed Inventory Report generated at a site
• In-Progress Inventory Report generated at the district
• District Barcode Detail Report generated at the district
• District Detail Report generated at the district

include the following information:

For each inventory and for each Home Location, the report lists the total numbers of items Accounted For and Unaccounted For.

For each item, the report includes the following information:

• Resource Name
• Purchase Price
• Item barcode number
• Home Location
  If you chose to have Inventory change the Home Location on record to the current scanning location, the updated items appear under their new Home Locations.
• Item Status
  If the item is checked out to a patron, department, or location, that person or place appears in parentheses.
• Custodian
  If you did not assign a Custodian to an item, Destiny lists the department head. If you did not assign the item to a department, Destiny lists the principal. If the site has no principal, the text Principal appears.

A District Summary Report shows the total numbers of items Accounted For and Unaccounted For in the inventory.

It lists each site alphabetically with its total numbers of Accounted For and Unaccounted For items.

The report is sorted first by Home Location in alphabetical order. Destiny inserts a page break between all Home Locations.

If you chose All items in the inventory, the resources are grouped into Accounted For and Unaccounted For sections.
