Add items

Number of Items (default) Destiny creates the quantity entered without barcode numbers. You can add up to 99,999 items.

Unlimited  Destiny does not create any items. These appear in Search Results.  important Once a number of items are added to the resource, this option no longer appears. You cannot have both Number of Items and Unlimited for a single resource.

List of Redemption Codes Destiny creates an item record for each code you enter. The code appears on the Items tab (in place of a barcode number) and in Edit Item. Once an item is checked out, the code appears on the student's Patron Status and MyInfo pages.

1. To add redemption codes, click Add. The Add Redemption Code page appears.
2. To remove redemption codes, click Remove.
3. Make other changes as needed.
4. Click Save.

Destiny skips duplicates for a resource.

From Redemption Code XML File  Destiny creates an item record for each code in the file. The code appears on the Items tab and in Edit Item. Once an item is checked out, the code and URL, if included in the file, appear on the student's Patron Status and MyInfo pages. The file you upload must meet the established XML file format requirements. See Redemption code file.

• Click Choose File to browse to, and upload, a file of redemption codes.
