- If you are not on the Orders page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
- Click Add New Order.
- Type your name and phone number in the appropriate *required fields. The order cannot be saved unless you enter information in these fields.
- If you do not want the resources yet, type a date to ship the order in the Ship After field. This is an optional step.
- Type your email address in the Email field. This is an optional step.
- Use the Note field to type special instructions or requests. This is an optional step.
- From the Find drop-down, select the resource type you need.
- Type your search term in the search field, and then use the in drop-down to select which fields to search.
- Click Go.
- From the search results, type the number you need of each resource in the Site Requested field, and then click Select.
- Do one of the following:
- To save and send the order, click Save & Send. This places the order in the Submitted section. The order can be viewed at both the warehouse and the site.
- To save the order without sending it so you can add more resources later, click Save. This moves the order to the Unsent section. The order can be viewed at both the warehouse and the site.
note A site can have only one unsent or unapproved (submitted) order at a time. Submitted orders can be revived (returned) for changes before being approved. See Manage a Submitted Order.
